Frequently Asked Questions
What is Sunshore doing to reduce its environmental footprint?
We take a thoughtful, intentional approach to how our pieces are made.
From carefully selected materials to small-batch production, every decision is guided by a desire to reduce excess and create with purpose.
Rather than chasing trends, we focus on timeless designs meant to be worn and kept, season after season. It’s not about being perfect, but about making better choices, consistently.
Are your materials sustainable?
Our pieces are crafted using ECONYL®, a regenerated techno-fabric made from recycled materials such as discarded plastics.
Soft, breathable, and elegantly lightweight, it offers a natural stretch and a comfortable fit while remaining highly resistant to chlorine, sun creams, and oils.
Designed to hold its shape and quality over time, it’s made to be worn, and kept, through many summers.
How to choose a product which suits my morphology?
In any product page you may find the button "Size Chart". After consulting the measures, if doubts persist, please contact our customer service via e-mail customerservices@sunshorebrand.com
Where is it made?
Each Sunshore piece is made in Lisbon, Portugal, by a single skilled maker.
Working in small batches, this approach allows for greater attention to detail, consistency, and care in every piece. It’s a more personal way of creating, slower, intentional, and rooted in craftsmanship.
How should I care for my swimwear?
To keep your Sunshore pieces at their best:
Rinse after use — a quick rinse in cold water helps remove salt, chlorine, or sunscreen.
Gentle wash — hand wash or machine on a delicate cycle at low temperature. Use minimal detergent and avoid soaking.
Dry naturally — lay flat to dry in the shade. Avoid tumble dryers or direct heat.
Protect from sun & chemicals — apply suncream and let it dry before wearing; prolonged exposure to chlorinated water or direct sunlight may affect colours over time.
Storage — ensure pieces are completely dry before storing. Avoid leaving them in bags while damp.
Sunshore swimwear is designed to last — following these simple steps preserves fabric, shape, and colour, season after season.
